I just want to say how wonderful Yasmin's performance was. I was really moved by it and really saw myself in her shoes or should I say chappals. It was humorous, poignant, incredibly touching, and empowering. In spite of obstacles and her heartbreak, Yasmin has achieved her dream and has believed in herself. That is very inspiring, especially for me. Being an Indian actress in New York is pretty challenging. Even if there are more roles out there, it's tough and even tougher since my family is completely unsupportive of my career choice. So I really related to Yasmin and her story.
